When you lose your vision

Being aware of your own alignment is the single thing that can change everything: it allows you to recognize when you’re getting “the whole picture” and when you’re getting only a tiny bit of it.

When you’re aligned you hold your VISION and you feel confident, enthusiastic and vibrant, while when you’re out of alignment, you lose your vision and you’re either in a state of worry, doubt or fear.

In this case you should not take any decision: just take a deep breath with the awareness that it’s only a moment since you have the ability to let it go, weather distracting yourself or choosing new empowering thoughts.

Enjoy the video and let us know in the comments below how this metaphor is calling your attention when you’re out of alignment;-)

The magical wand to manifest your dreams

I adore to put on some inspiring music to do my creative imaginations, the magical wand always available. It helps me raise my vibrations and better envision my dreams and life purpose. I usually imagine my best version -the details change depending on what I’m currently living-  as it gives me the highest joy.

I feel and see my desires already realized and I enjoy the fulfillment of the manifestation.

Don’t get trapped in the “how it will manifest” mentality, otherwise your energy drops down. Go straight to the magical scenario you want to see in your life and feel One with the Energy that Creates Worlds. You’re here to mold energy to give shape to your desires, which represent your Soul’s purpose.

(However, your desires do not have to be always big dreams: you could desire to feel peaceful during your day).

One day I looked at my past recognizing all the times I felt I could not realized something that I really wanted.

Things that felt hard or even impossible sometimes to achieve, like my psychology degree, a dream relationship, my books, finding my life path and so on …

I appreciated these moments where everything became available and POSSIBLE to me, despite my doubts, fears and frustrations. When I dived into these episodes of victory I gathered an incredible energy and I felt INVINCIBLE.

They reminded me that everything is possible, if we give it enough time, love and trust.

This process makes my present very peaceful and resourceful: I feel that everything I need is here and what I want is in the process of unfolding, because I know that I have already invited it with my appreciation and positive attention to it.

You can apply this process of recalling what you already have achieved that seemed almost impossible, when you start your creative imagination, to charge yourself with a ton of positive and exciting energy. Moreover, you get strength coming from your past and inspiration coming from your future. So you’ll get a very powerful and centered NOW.

What I call “failure” is not allowing enough time or resources to a desire to unfold. That’s really a pity as it will never see the light. But if you persevere with your appreciation for what you love -your desires- they’ll find a way to manifest. Usually when you less expect them because not giving them too much attention (it’s easier to offer negative attention to something, than positive attention) you soften your resistance towards them.

Many people believe that failure is not succeeding while or after doing something: this is a very common belief,  but is not really the truth …

Think about how many times Thomas Edison failed at inventing the light bulb … But did he really fail? The 1000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb were necessary to get to it. The journey is absolutely necessary to get to any destination.

When a reporter asked him “How did it feel to fail 1000 times?” Edison replied, “I did not fail 1000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1000 steps”.

So, what really failure is? Failure is not even attempting what you’re called to do, not even starting it.

I have designed “Shine your Light” guided meditation to help you unleash all your creative power to manifest your dreams, enjoy it:

Overcoming difficulties

When you face difficulties in your life, you can get so much emotionally or physically overwhelmed, that you wish to overcome your odds as soon as possible. It’s a good attitude to be solution oriented, but do not try to remove what you feel straight away, diminishing or camouflaging it, because the present moment is important and you cannot avoid it, making feint that it has not touched you, disowning it.

Emotions indeed serve precisely to give you an indication of how you perceive the reality you live. When you feel negative emotions it means that you’re far away from your Inner Being, who always feel unconditional love like the Source from which you come from. But the quicker you immerse yourself in the emotions that the majority of people try to avoid, the quicker you are able to let them go and move from grief, anger, discouragement, worry or doubt to contentment, hopefulness and so forth.

Live the experience fully and once the emotional wave that accompanies the storm has passed, you can better assess the strings that has touched within you, its meaning and how you can transform it into something positive, rather than considering it something that just hurts.

When the storm has passed, it is time to discern what has remained and that perhaps did not exist before a different approach or identity, a greater inner strength or anything like that. There is always this possibility because you can always find out what you like and what you do not like in any situation.

All situations, even those you’d be happy to forget, have the potential to give you something good.

Maybe you won’t see it immediately, but in time you will learn to appreciate it, once you take more distance from the emotional storm.

The practice of appreciation is a simple tool that can help you overcoming difficulties and taking a gulp of air.

Appreciation can transform all the events that you live.

Appreciating means turning pleasant and loving thoughts and emotions towards people, situations, places … Appreciation can be applied to everything and within seconds it can change your mood because when you appreciate, you cannot loath at the same time or complain about something because they are very opposing vibrations. A few minutes a day of appreciation can help you regain your center and get some relief.

Just starts from very small things… When you are in bed you can express appreciation for the warm duvet and sheets that surround you, the softness of the pillow and so on… When it rains you can appreciate this gift from heaven that bathes all plants and trees, offering them refreshment… You can appreciate what you wear, eat, do, the words you tell someone, the music you listen to … You can appreciate the blue sky …

In any situation you can always find something to appreciate, it is simply an aptitude to develop, especially if you have not been educated to be appreciative of life. It is only a matter of practice and appreciation is a quality to assimilate.

When you appreciate, you forget your difficulties to find something beautiful to give your attention to. Although sometimes it seems that there is not much to appreciate, it is a matter of focus. By directing your focus to what already goes well and what gives you the slightest relief, you are learning how to allow the good in your life.

Don’t be discouraged if at first you tend more to complain than to appreciate: appreciation is like a flower that needs some time to blossom!

The art of listening to the children

We may believe that children are not interested in anything, just because they are not interested in what we’re interested in. But if we listen to them, rather than to ourselves, we can discover what fascinates them. If a child is not interested in what we like, we do not have to stop, but rather trying to enter the world of the child.

This was obvious when I worked with a family from the Middle East. The parents continued to complain that their son Amir was not interested in anything and that if he had not been routed in some activity, he would not realize anything in life. This belief was so strong in them that at times threatened to affect me too. I decided not to listen to it to concentrate solely on that of Amir. More the days passed, more I discovered interesting aspects of this child.

First of all, he knew how to relax!

This aspect was considered of little account by the parents, because they were both used to never stop, encouraging the hard work. For that, this aspect of their son was quite embarrassing. Amir loved to relax with the music and he knew all types of music. He had done some yoga classes in the past and a few times, I was guided by him into beautiful relaxations in which I was about to fall asleep. This is an art and, frankly, seeing thus developed in a child of 10 years, in which it has not been particularly instilled, hit me.

Amir did not only know a lot of music, but also a myriad of movies and actors. He does great movie’s reviews and he loves going to the cinema. Amir knows many places throughout the world and the collections of several designers. When we walked into a clothing store, he already knew the name of the summer collection. The salesman there confirmed that it was the exact name. Amir used its Ipad to search for information of any kind on the internet: history, news, science, computer science …

He is an affectionate and sensitive child: one day I was not in great shape and he continued knocking on my door to delight me with tea and sweets. I thought that he had read my mind and, on that occasion, I have renamed Amir, my guardian angel.

Amir loves to play basketball, even if it is not the favorite sport by his father, who wanted to see him excel in martial arts, where he signed Amir. One day I wanted to accompany Amir at his martial arts lesson to see him at work because I had imagined seeing him very different from when he plays basketball. In fact, it was so, he was awkward and slowed down and someone struck him.

Several times I repeated to the parents that a shaft of peaches may not give the pears, and I encouraged Amir to choose for himself, and not for his father. Amir loves to travel and touring: as soon as I arrived in the city, he wanted to do with me a sightseeing tour, but the mother has suggested waiting until the next season. Amir would be leaving for a tour every day, discovering new corners of the city: activities that should be absolutely encouraged by their parents.

When I informed the mother that Amir is a child full of passions, she was quite surprised. The father still wanted a son awake and energetic: when he brought him to the pool, the father expected Amir to do 70 tanks, while Amir hoped to just relax and enjoy the lovely warm water.

Parents can learn to listen to their children, by leaving them the freedom to choose what they love, interrupting the chain of duty-pain that is still so deeply rooted in many of us.
